Game Source Code Collection

This is a collection of computer game source code. The majority of these titles were originally released as commercial products and the source code was made available to the public at a later time.

Developers have released these assets under varying licenses. Information about the license restrictions is included when known.

If you are the copyright holder of a computer game and would like to make your source code available here please e-mail me at swizzle@demu.org. Or if you know of a game which has had it's source code released which is not present in our archive.

Beyond Castle Wolfenstein is a 1984 computer game by Muse Software. It is the sequel to the innovative and successful Castle Wolfenstein, a prototypical stealth game. After the death of Silas Warner in 2004, the reconstructed source code and a ported version of the game was released for free by his widow in honor of him.

This is the full source code except modem and sound routines (which are copyright-protected by a third-party). These routines are just commented out, so if you have the routines licensed yourself or found a similar package, you can re-enable it quite easy.

Anacreon: Reconstruction 4021 is a DOS computer game originally written by George Moromisato, and published by TMA in 1987. The game's theme was galactic conquest, with the setting strongly inspired by Isaac Asimov's Foundation series of novels. It was one of the first computer strategy games, and is an example of a 4X game (eXplore, eXpand, eXploit, eXterminate). Around 2004 the source code of the DOS version 2.00 was released.

Golgotha was a video game that was being developed by Crack dot Com prior to shutting down in 1998. The game is a real time strategy game, with elements from first-person shooter games.
